Challenge: Create an opportunity for your students to find an outside editor. Prepare students for this editing conference by having them identify their editing strengths as well as their imperfections to share with their outside editor.
How will you know whether a student has met with an outside editor?
What procedures will you establish for a student who is unable to meet with an outside editor?
Is there someone in the school ou would be able to connect with a student who is unable to have anyone outside of school read his or her work?
What are your main issues when it comes to editing?
