Another day spent keeping it real and creating reading assessments with a crazy-talented team on Thursday, and then again today.
On Thursday, we learned about the GRASPS format for creating product-centered assessments. I hate acronyms, so I’m going to refer to it onward as the awesome performance task protocol. Because our intermediate team has author’s purpose as our literary focus for November and December, I developed activities for both fiction and nonfiction.
I’m such a morning person. It’s the afternoon now, and my brain is friiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiied.
I also put in a bid for more high-quality picture fiction and nonfiction books in our classroom. <3 Wish us luck.
