It’s time.
Time to clear out my crazy draft folder of half-finished, rambling, desperately-in-need-of-editing empassioned blog posts.
Time to freaking FINISH writing Bucky book before all the thoughts I’m thinking in my head explode and I mentally throttle myself for not just WRITING.
Time to get back on track with posting mentor text strategy lessons, because it’s something that invigorates me and that I love and adore.
It’s November, NanoWriMo, but I don’t really want to write a novel. It’s also PiBoIdMo, but Bucky Book is definitely past just the idea stage. And I’ve signed on for a few committees that have me writing ELA assessments and rubrics, so I want to be able to be realistic and make sure I carve out some time for that too. So this month I’ll be participating in SWaFLMo. Shannon Writes a Frikkin’ Lot Month. I made that up this morning on my drive to school. I like the idea. I like saying it out loud. “SwaffleMoe.”
So without further ado, here we go! I’m off to spend the rest of the evening writing social studies assessments for project-based learning and poking BuckyBook around.
The beautiful background image for my SWaFLMo banner was created by Suzanne Lyons using ink from Goulet Pens.
